Renovated Houses on Mellon Street Available for Sale

Four renovated houses on the 800 block of Mellon Street in Highland Park are now available for sale. These single-family homes were completely gutted. The interiors are modern but their historic facades have been preserved. Construction is expected to be complete by summer of 2006.

800 Block Tour is a Success

On Thursday, October 13, 2005 the HPCDC, ELDI, & Pennsylvania Senator Jim Ferlo showcased the recent work in the 800 block of Mellon Street by offering tours of some of the properties being renovated, including the Sutherland Apartments at 839 Mellon Street.

The 800 Block is Back!

The Highland Park Community Development Corporation (HPCDC) and Pennsylvania State Senator Jim Ferlo invite you to tour the 800 block of Mellon Street in Highland Park on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Beverages will be provided.
Come see the work the HPCDC and our development partners have been doing on Mellon Street between Stanton Avenue and Jackson Street where renovation projects at the Victorian Queen Anne style homes at 807, 813, 815, & 817 Mellon Street are in progress and renovation of the 7-unit Sutherland apartment building at 839 Mellon Street is expected to be complete soon.
These projects are also being highlighted on Saturday, October 1, 2005 during the Highland Park House Tour.
